What if the persecution and burning of witches returned to modern America?

This young adult graphic novel imagines how such a scenario could come about, whilst also revealing an age-old battle between the Akasha, (nomadic beings who are trying to protect the earth from destruction and who, for centuries, have been labelled witches) and the Seraph, who only live to hunt them down to heal the wounds of a painful grudge between them. They pride themselves on their legendary ability as witchfinders and are able to use their sense of smell to track the Akasha. After keeping themselves hidden, the Akasha decide that, in the face of climate collapse, the only course is to wake all those young women who are dormant members of their bloodline and take on  Seraph and human alike in a final conflict for the future of Mother Earth.
